Who is behind the attack?
Two inventors have developed a robot that can solve a Rubik's Cube in 0.38 seconds. Not only is this a world record, but it's so fast that the human eye does not notice the twists and turns. Luckily, the YouTube video also provides a nice slow motion:
Ben Katz and Jared Di Carlo describe in a blog post how they constructed the magic cube robot. The machine is based on relatively inexpensive Playstation 3-Eye cameras and the open-source image recognition tool OpenCV.
