The Facebook app dedicated to Gaming was launched on Android before the planned debut in June.
The social media giant withdrew its two-month application debut due to the global corona virus pandemic that isolated people around the home.
Social engagement is the focus of the app which will soon have an iOS version as well. Twitch and YouTube are the biggest competitors to Facebook Gaming.
The app has a Go Live option for video game broadcasts. It is this option that is emphasized by the application which also has a second tab for discovering games and activities of friends with games.
The last tab has a chat platform. So far, the app has received more than 5 million downloads in the Play Store.
It comes a year and a half after testing in Latin America and Southeast Asia. The social network aims to monetize the application by holding commissions for donations made by donors to players.
You can try it right away. Enjoy it.
